Core Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and ready for use.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager.
- Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in a safe and sanitary manner.
Qualification Standards & Company Requirements
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
