What You Will Do

• Primarily focuses on keeping the dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standard
• Maintains Dish Machine By Checking for chemicals in dish machine to see they are filled and ready
• Understands how to use dish machine
• Reports any malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef
• Keeps chemical testers on hand
• Knows how to use all sanitizing materials used for cleaning
• Checks trash periodically and removes if full
• Organizes dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver
• Maintains a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware
• Exercises caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware)
• Keeps floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash
• Aids in preparation and additional cleaning throughout kitchen as needed
• Maintains a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front-of-the-house staff
• Upholds all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and 3rd party Sanitation auditors
