Restaurant Dishwasher

About the role

We're searching for hardworking individuals who are eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our busy kitchen as our next dishwasher. We require a dependable person who can jump in and assist with a range of kitchen activities. You will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine, in addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers. As needed, you may be asked to perform additional cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine
• Sweep and scrub kitchen floors to maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas
• Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine
• Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Team player
• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification
• Great physical health and stamina
• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic

Pay

$13 hourly
