Crew Member Overview

As a Crew Member, you strive to consistently deliver the MOD Pizza experience to all guests. You are a role model of super-fast service and help create a memorable, inspiring, and unique experience, while preparing and presenting outstanding pizzas and salads within a cool environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Makes pizzas, salads and other menu offerings adhering to MOD standards to ensure the best possible finished product.
• Prepares, cooks, and packages guest orders ensuring timely, quality, and consistent execution every time.
• Follows all food safety prep and storage standards/procedures as they are defined in MOD operations resources and training.
• Uses the tools provided to ensure the store looks clean, organized, welcoming and ready to deliver the best guest experience.
• Shows up to work on time, in MOD dress code, and ready to deliver an excellent and memorable MOD experience to all guests, vendors, and fellow Crew Members.
• Demonstrates the fundamentals of hospitality (friendly, accurate and fast) on every shift.
• Follows instructions and welcomes coaching and direction from all restaurant leaders.
• Shares your knowledge with others to support the success of the team, your restaurant and fellow squad.
• Takes care of your guests and gets to know them by welcoming and engaging in conversation when they are in the restaurants.
• Maintains a mindset of serving others and ensures quality standards are upheld during busy shifts.
• Works closely and has fun together to create the MOD experience for your squad and your guests.

Required Qualifications

• No experience required; however, you must have the willingness and ability to do the following.
• Demonstrate a passion for people, enjoy connecting with fellow squad, and guests.
• Able to follow processes and instructions in a consistent manner.
• Show a history of consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Show an interest in learning, growing, and contributing to the success of MOD and your teammates.
• You are at least 16 years old.
• Some states limit specific tools and appliances until 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• Must have the ability to work in an open kitchen environment, rotating between front and back of house. This requires walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, carrying, pushing and pulling, and in general handling or moving objects weighing up to fifty pounds.
• Must have the ability to operate hand-held appliances, sharp knives, and various kitchen equipment including but not limited to the industrial can opener, dough press, industrial dishwasher, very hot oven, etc. Depending on the location, you may need to go up and down stairs and/or use an elevator.
• Must have the ability to communicate and exchange information quickly with squad members and others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food/service industry experience
• POS (Point of Sale) experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, carry, push and pull, and in general handle or move objects weighing up to fifty pounds.

• Ability to communicate and exchange information quickly with squad members and others.

Compensation

$17.21/hour when combining hourly wage of $12.77 and average tips of $4.44/hour earned at this location!
