About the Role
The Hotel Line Cook is responsible for cooking, controlling quality and consistency of all food produced and served in the Hotel Restaurant Outlets. They must ensure their station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service and maintain appropriate supplies. They are expected to learn all menu items and fulfill guest orders promptly. This role requires flexibility to work PM shifts as late as 2am, weekends, and holidays. Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced atmosphere is required, with preference given to hotel experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service
- Maintain appropriate supplies for service
- Learn all menu items and fulfill guest orders promptly
- Work PM shifts as late as 2am
- Be available to work weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Food handlers Serve Safe certification upon hire
Benefits
Union Contract rates: $18.15 first 3 months/ $19.16 after 3 months/ $20.17 after 6 months
