Responsibilities

• Preparing quality food for our guess and high profile events we have
• Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
• Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
• Provide training and development for culinary team members
• Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback

Qualifications

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
• Diploma/certification in a culinary discipline preferred
• Previous cook experience required
• Knowledge in garde manger and savory kitchen prep
• Ability to work in big quantities and batches
• Visa Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to be employed in the United States of America.

Pay

Hourly Rate: Per the collective bargaining agreement with UNITE HERE Local 11, break-in rates apply to newly hired employees in non-tipped classifications during their first 18 months of employment. Starts at $29.40/hour Increases to $33.98/hour at 9 months Reaches full scale of $38.75/hour at 18 months
