Responsibilities

• Bus and reset tables:
  • Report to work well-groomed, in clean uniform, and practice good personal hygiene.
  • Set dining tables with dishes, silverware, glassware, and condiments before meal service.
  • After meal service, remove soiled dishes, linens, and glassware; wipe tables, chairs, and adjacent walls with sanitizer.
  • Clear crumbs and wipe tables clean.
  • Vacuum floors under and around dining tables.
• Assist crew members:
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned stations and work areas.
  • Perform side work during downtime, including rolling silverware, restocking condiments, cleaning work areas, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Refill ice bins in service stations and bars.
  • Deliver clean dishes to cooks or the expo line.
  • Keep managers informed of issues and propose solutions.
• Housekeeping:
  • Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors throughout the restaurant.
  • Empty trash containers in expo, service stations, and behind the bar.
  • Clean spills or accidents promptly and thoroughly.
  • Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as requested (e.g., replacing light bulbs, cleaning blinds, drains, and bathrooms).

Requirements

• Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to see at distances (20 feet), close range (12 inches), distinguish shapes, and use peripheral vision to avoid hazards.
• Clear communication skills.
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold.
• Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of 2½–3 feet.
• High mobility and flexibility in tight spaces.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to fit through openings 30” wide.
• Ability to work irregular hours under pressure during busy periods.
• Bending, reaching, and walking frequently.
• Carrying trays weighing up to 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to dish and cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service will be taught through in-house training.

Supervision is provided by the Manager on Duty, who directs procedures and assignments. This description reflects essential job elements but is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned.
