Restaurant Assistant Manager - Shadyside

The ideal candidate will be flexible in handling daily operations and diligent in upholding our standards. This person will direct the workflow of team members, while also interacting with customers and preparing delicious food!

Responsibilities

• Aid the General Manager with daily operations
• Oversee a team of people and facilitate a smooth workflow
• Show strong problem-solving abilities and display sound judgement in resolving issues
• Show an aptitude toward preventing mistakes through high awareness
• Help set the pace for the crew by maintaining high energy, positivity, and a sense of urgency
• Passionate about quality control and sustained customer satisfaction
• Work closely with the GM on effective employee training and implementation of company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Leader, or in a similar role in retail
• Reliability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High awareness and strong attention to detail
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Confident problem-solver
• Team player
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Available to CLOSE the restaurant regularly and open on occasion
