Restaurant Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

Maintaining the highest standards in quality, service and cleanliness with supervision of team members and shift leaders.

Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow Team Members.

Aid the General Manager in completing new hire paperwork, time sheets, payroll data, disciplinary actions, and personal data sheets.

Conduct team meetings and weekly inventories.

Control payroll and inventory to meet company standards.

Support management in operational decisions.

Prepare and maintain reports and records according to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.

Manage cash transactions and ensure adherence to financial procedures.

Enforce sanitation, safety, and security policies.

Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies.

Engage with the community through visits to local businesses, churches, and civic organizations.

Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Work in high temperatures.
• Work in close quarters with others.
• Able to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably.
• Work with various cleaning products.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in daily restaurant operations.
• Current ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required.
