About the role

We are seeking Assistant Managers to join Huddle House, a rapidly growing chain in the Southeast. Our purpose is to bring friends and families together over delicious food, served from the heart.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Team Members and Shift Leaders
  • Maintain the highest standards in quality, service and cleanliness
  • Focus on profitability
  • Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow Team Members
  • Aid in the completion of HR paperwork, time sheets, and payroll data
  • Conduct team meetings and weekly inventories
  • Control payroll and inventory to meet company standards
  • Support management team and General Manager in operational decisions
  • Ensure compliance with HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies
  • Assume responsibility for cash handling and ensure proper procedures are followed
  • Enforce sanitation, safety, and security policies
  • Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and display professionalism
  • Drive business and increase sales by visiting businesses, churches, and civic organizations

Requirements

  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Work around high temperatures
  • Work around others in close quarters
  • Able to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably
  • Able to work with various cleaning products
  • Must be legally able to perform the duties of this position
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts
  • Must have reliable transportation and method of communication with restaurant

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in daily restaurant operations
  • Current ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required to start
