Restaurant Assistant General Manager

About the role

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar/Thrive Restaurant Group seeks a General Manager to lead and inspire a team that provides exceptional hospitality and food experiences in the communities they serve.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests and employees.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage staff performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with other departments to align goals and support overall restaurant success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in fast-casual or casual dining environments.
• Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and motivate employees.
• Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
