Restaurant and Bakery Shift Leader

About the role

Join a thriving restaurant chain founded in 1958 with locations across 32 states and two Canadian provinces. As a key member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining outstanding guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Standing and walking for up to 8 hours
• Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues
• Handle heat, steam, smoke, and cold environments
• Reach heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of 2.5 - 3 feet
• Fit through openings 30 inches wide
• Work irregular hours under heavy pressure/stress during busy times
• Bend, reach, walk, carry trays of food products weighing about 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to dish and cleaning chemicals

Requirements

• Able to see at a distance (20 feet), at close range (12 inches), distinguish between shapes, and utilize peripheral vision to avoid hazards
• High level of mobility/flexibility in space provided
• Time management skills
• Read, write, and perform addition/subtraction calculations
• Control and utilize fingers to write, slice, chop, and operate equipment
• Fitness to fit through openings 30 inches wide
• Ability to work irregular hours under heavy pressure/stress during busy times

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
