About the role
The elementary teacher provides support to the instructional process by serving as the classroom leader with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Develops lesson plans and delivers group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
- Collaborates with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues.
- Responds to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- 2.5 GPA
- Desirable Bachelor's Degree in Education, content area or other related field
