Restart Teacher, Elementary/ (26-27)

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to students in grades K-5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards.
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
• Mentor and support students' social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive lesson plans and assessments.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license in North Carolina.
• At least two years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse educational setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of current educational theories and practices.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The position is a 10-month term, with summers off.
