Respiratory Therapy Student PRN, Acute

Position Summary

Assists respiratory therapists with preparing for and providing patient care. Delivers routine therapy as delegated by a therapist. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources. Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders. Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

What We Are Looking For

• State Board of Respiratory Care (Student)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred
