About the role

The South Central College is seeking an Unlimited, Full-Time Respiratory Therapy Instructor/Program Director. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to excellence in teaching and passionate about contributing to a vibrant, student-centered learning community.

Responsibilities

  • Teach respiratory therapy courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Develop and maintain curriculum that meets accreditation standards and student learning outcomes.
  • Conduct research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in program development and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and services.
  • Provide clinical supervision for respiratory therapy students.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of continuing education programs for healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Experience in teaching and/or program administration in respiratory therapy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is determined by the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) collective bargaining agreement.
