Respiratory Therapy Instructor/Program Director
About the role
The South Central College is seeking an Unlimited, Full-Time Respiratory Therapy Instructor/Program Director. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to excellence in teaching and passionate about contributing to a vibrant, student-centered learning community.
Responsibilities
- Teach respiratory therapy courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Develop and maintain curriculum that meets accreditation standards and student learning outcomes.
- Conduct research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in program development and evaluation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and services.
- Provide clinical supervision for respiratory therapy students.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuing education programs for healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Experience in teaching and/or program administration in respiratory therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Pay
The salary range for this position is determined by the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) collective bargaining agreement.
