Respiratory Therapy Assistant
Job Summary
Provides patient treatment by performing duties under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist within the various modalities of Respiratory Therapy. Assists staff by caring for patients, performing limited clerical duties, and duties outlined by the SC Respiratory Care Board.
Qualifications
- High School preferred, enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Associates program with expected graduation date with-in 18 months of hire date.
- Completed appropriate clinical base on school’s requirement up to the last semester.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- PALS and NRP certifications must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
