About the Role

Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality and accuracy. Ensures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer service excellence skills. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision for patients of all ages with skill, quality, and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper identification of patients according to MMH policy and procedure.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide advanced customer service excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (Required)
  • Vocational/Technical School/Diploma (Preferred)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • State of Florida Respiratory Therapist License (Required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (Required)
