Role: Per Diem Respiratory Therapist - Level 2, Nights Responsibilities Assist physicians with respiratory proceduresProvide respiratory therapy to patients across all age groups according to hospital policiesAssess patients to determine appropriate treatment methodsDocument treatments, equipment maintenance, and quality activitiesCommunicate treatment plans clearly to patients and familiesMonitor patient responses, with special attention to neonatal and pediatric casesEducate patients and staff on respiratory care Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (required)Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry-eligible (required)Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license (required within 6 months)Current CPR certification (required)ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (required within 24 months) Key Duties: Provide specialized respiratory care, document activities, assess patient responses, and educate patients and staff to ensure quality treatment across diverse patient populations.
