About the role

This Respiratory Therapist opportunity is Per Diem with a convenient day shift schedule. Under the supervision of the Critical Care Director, Medical Director, and Respiratory Department Supervisor, the respiratory therapist is responsible for providing Respiratory Care services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment
• Remains alert and assesses possible side effects to oxygen delivery
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understands the purpose of each, and the possible side effects associated with each

Requirements

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure or eligible
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
• BLS and ACLS certification
• PALS certified within 90 days

Pay

$36.25 to $55.79 per hour. Salary offers may be based on key factors such as education and related experience.
