About the role
The Respiratory Therapist role involves providing both basic and advanced respiratory care in various hospital settings, including Emergency, ICU, Labor & Delivery, and OB departments. You will assess, manage airway and pulmonary issues, assist with resuscitation, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current North Carolina Respiratory Care License
- RRT certification from NBRC
- Associate's degree required, with a bachelor's preferred
- BLS certification required within 30 days
- Preferred additional certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP
Qualifications
- Experience in hospital settings, including Emergency, ICU, Labor & Delivery, and OB departments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours with rotating weekends
