This PRN position assists with occasional Veteran’s Clinics on weekdays only. Roshal Health was founded over 20 years ago with a focus on patient care and work/life balance for clinicians. The company operates nationally, offering both local and travel opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis, and emphysema
• Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct diagnostic tests and provide respiratory therapies
• Perform pulmonary function screenings using spirometry equipment
• Provide patient education on respiratory equipment, medications, and test preparation
• Administer albuterol treatments post-pulmonary function examination
• Conduct pre- and post-pulmonary function testing, including lung capacity and spirometry measurements
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards of care during procedures
• Communicate effectively with pulmonologists and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and/or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) preferred
• AARC Office Spirometry Certificate accepted
