Respiratory Therapist Registered

Role: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory care to patients. Key Duties: Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops care plans, manages therapeutic modalities including aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation. Provides patient and family education, assists with intra-hospital transport, and manages emergency airway situations. Supports invasive and non-invasive monitoring, participates in procedures like bronchoscopy, and collaborates with the medical team. Acts as Shift Coordinator after one year and serves as a preceptor for students and new staff. Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards and maintains patient confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from Specialty Training Program (required), with strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills. Ability to perform emergency interventions and manage advanced respiratory equipment.
