About the role
Provides respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), demonstrating proficiency through credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care. The role involves assessing patients, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, administering medications, and delivering health education to patients and families. The therapist collaborates with healthcare team members, offers clinical leadership, and supports continuous learning. Additional duties include participating in quality improvement activities and achieving assigned goals.
Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience, including hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settings
- Minimum of hospital experience preferred
- Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation
- Basic computer skills with Windows and Microsoft Office
- RRT licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire required; ACLS preferred
