About the Role

The respiratory therapist is responsible for performing patient assessments, administering respiratory care procedures, and executing critical care protocols in adult care settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory procedures
• Execute critical care protocols for adult patients
• Manage blood gas analysis and equipment
• Educate patients on respiratory health and care

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation with skills validation
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners

Skills

• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Active practice and maintenance of all required competencies
