About the Role

Responsible for performing patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, critical care interventions in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, equipment management, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory procedures
• Conduct critical care interventions in adult care settings
• Manage blood gas analyses and equipment maintenance
• Provide patient education regarding respiratory care

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation with skills validation
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Active practice and maintenance of all required competencies
