Responsibilities
- Assess respiratory status and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage ventilator-dependent pediatric residents.
- Evaluate ventilator weaning and respiratory rehabilitation potential.
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams.
- Educate caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to changes in respiratory condition with sound clinical judgment.
Qualifications
- Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- RRT or CRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Current CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Pediatric and ventilator experience preferred
- New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric, ventilator, or long-term care experience preferred (but not required — we will support training)
