Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care.
  • Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
  • May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
  • One year experience in Respiratory Care with documented training completed in NICU and/or Pediatrics.
  • CRT, RRT by NBRC upon hire.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider required.
  • PALS required within 30 days of hire.
  • NRP required within 90 days of hire.
  • ACLS preferred (requirements are facility-based).
