Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care.
- Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
- May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
- One year experience in Respiratory Care with documented training completed in NICU and/or Pediatrics.
- CRT, RRT by NBRC upon hire.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider required.
- PALS required within 30 days of hire.
- NRP required within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS preferred (requirements are facility-based).
