Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Role: Provides comprehensive respiratory care, including patient assessment, therapy administration, and ventilator support, primarily in intensive care settings. Responsibilities: Performs direct patient care per physician orders or protocols, evaluates therapy effectiveness, maintains life support equipment, and supports resuscitation efforts. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program, current state licensure, and registration as a respiratory therapist (RRT). Certifications include BLS, NRP, and PALS (may be obtained upon hire). Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates critical thinking, flexibility, adaptability, and clinical judgment to implement care plans and procedures effectively. Prior neonatal and pediatric ICU experience and NBRC Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist certification are preferred. Additional Requirements: Ability to perform clinical interventions accurately and safely, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
