Respiratory Therapist - Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) to provide skilled respiratory care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a patient advocate and prioritize care based on patient needs
• Administer and evaluate respiratory therapies
• Perform patient transfers and manage respiratory interventions
• Handle ventilator management and airway management in critical care
• Conduct blood gas analysis
• Respond to emergencies such as code blue
• Document all care according to policies and standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 2-year/Associate Degree (required)
• 4-year/Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Current RCP licensure (mandatory)

• Ability to evaluate patient needs
• Provide routine and advanced respiratory care
• Demonstrate independence in practice
• Operate effectively in critical and emergent situations
