About the Role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist collaborates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized respiratory care, ensuring optimal health outcomes or comfort. They build authentic relationships with patients and support systems, utilizing scientific evidence and compassion throughout the patient’s health journey. The therapist manages and provides care in accordance with current policies and procedures, demonstrating accountability and authority in their role.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple acute respiratory care locations within the region as part of the Respiratory Therapist II general pool.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to develop and evaluate individualized respiratory plans of care.
• Ensure care delivery adheres to established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Educational background of at least 1-2 years, with a preference for a 2-year associate degree or a 4-year bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience required.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the appropriate state is mandatory.
