About the role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role within the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans that promote optimal health or comfort. The therapist utilizes scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients throughout their health journey, taking responsibility and accountability for providing care in accordance with policies and procedures. As a Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) in the general pool, they are trained to work across at least three acute respiratory care locations within their region.

Requirements

• Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state
• Minimum of one year of experience

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (2 years) preferred
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years) also preferred
