Respiratory Therapist I or II - Days

About the role

Join a dynamic Respiratory Care team at a Level I Trauma Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital with a Level III NICU. Practice at the top of your license and make a meaningful impact across multiple critical care environments.

Responsibilities

• Practice professional respiratory care to patients in varying states of health and illness.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient’s pulmonary needs.
• Provide and oversee delivery of patient care for all patients requiring respiratory care in the general units, including adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients.
• Care for trauma patients, cardiac arrests, and high acuity admissions at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary care team to collaborate on patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care and be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Vermont.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire date.
• Current ACLS, BLS & PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

• Level I: $31.40 - $49.53
• Level II: $32.95 - $51.96
• Level III: $34.63 - $54.61
