About the role
Respiratory Therapist I providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in inpatient and procedural settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments
- Administer aerosol therapies
- Manage oxygen and noninvasive ventilation
- Support ventilator management under supervision
- Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases
- Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate electronic medical record documentation
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care
- Follow strict safety and infection-control protocols within a teaching, mission-driven environment
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pediatric respiratory therapies
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Strong communication skills
