Respiratory Therapist: Full-time PM & PRN
About the role
Michigan Masonic Home is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with respiratory illnesses, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing care in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Absorb and implement new procedures and technologies as they become available.
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory illnesses, including ventilator dependency and respiratory failure.
- Communicate with nurses and physicians about patient conditions and diagnostic results.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in appropriate settings.
- Perform respiratory therapy duties in all patient care areas.
- Manage ventilator care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning.
- Support ventilator weaning processes.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and staff concerns.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program with an Associates Degree.
- Advanced level accreditation (RRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care preferred.
- Minimum of a CRT required.

Pay
Hourly compensation starts at $15.00 USD and can vary based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Shifts are available on a PRN basis, with options for AM (6am-6:30pm) and PM (6pm-6:30am) shifts.
