Respiratory Therapist - Full Time (Nights)

About the role

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care setting, act as a care coordinator, and serve as a clinical consultant across hospital services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate patient care plans
• Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
• Manage respiratory medications
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities
• Provide patient and family education
• Assist in emergency situations
• Maintain clinical certifications
• Support staff training
• Ensure accurate documentation
• Follow infection prevention protocols
• Facilitate patient transfers

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• NBRC-RRT certification
• Georgia licensure
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Minimum of 2 years critical care experience preferred
