Respiratory Therapist - Full Time (Nights)

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT-CRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients of all ages, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, ventilation support, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures following established policies.
• Monitor, document, and analyze clinical data such as arterial blood gases and EKGs.
• Assist with artificial airway management and deliver intermittent therapies.
• Provide patient-centered care tailored to physical, psycho/social, educational, and safety needs.
• Educate patients and colleagues on procedures and treatment plans.
• Adapt communication and care strategies based on patient age and needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist and NBRC Registered status.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS within 90 days.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Windows applications, and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

• Flexible work capabilities, including the ability to work in various settings and travel between facilities.
