About the role
Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist! This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on physician orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness, and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care in respiratory therapy, including ventilator management and NICU rotations.
- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate therapy outcomes.
- Act as a resource for respiratory care expertise within the clinical team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Preferred certifications include ACLS; PALS required for ER roles.
- Critical care experience is advantageous.
- Physical ability to handle equipment and patient mobility tasks up to 50 lbs.
