What You’ll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist with Loyola, you will:

• Deliver respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform diagnostics
• Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Serve as a lead/charge therapist, guiding workflow and supporting team members

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in respiratory care
• Illinois RT license (or within 6 months)
• CRT (NBRC)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP & PALS within 90 days (effective July 1, 2025)

Preferred Qualifications

• AACLSNPS and/or ACCS credentials
• RT 2 – Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelor's preferred
• 3 years of previous job-related experience
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC
• RT 3 – Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelor's preferred

Compensation

• Respiratory Therapist II Pay Range: $36.50 - $48.84 per hour
• Respiratory Therapist III Pay Range: $36.50 - $50.71 per hour
