Respiratory Therapist - Full Time, Night

About the role

The Respiratory Therapist performs comprehensive patient care related to respiratory therapy, following physician orders. Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The role involves operating respiratory care devices, assessing patient needs, and providing necessary treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and minimal kneeling or crawling

Preferred certifications

• ACLS
• Experience in critical care
