About the role
Responsible for providing direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy based on physician orders. Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and performing assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff on therapy effectiveness
- Perform assigned respiratory therapy duties
Requirements
- Graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
Preferred Skills
- ACLS Certification
- Critical Care Experience
Physical demands
Handling respiratory devices and exerting up to 50 lbs. of force.
