About the role
Provides respiratory care in acute and critical care settings, performing procedures based on physician orders and departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Initiates and manages invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Performs airway management
- Conducts blood gas analysis
- Documents procedures and reports findings accurately
- Provides patient education and communicates with the healthcare team
- Ensures infection control and equipment disinfection
- Collaborates effectively with team members, including students and shadow personnel
- Performs other assigned duties

Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ongoing certifications such as NRP, PALS, ACLS as needed
- Skills to treat patients across all age groups
