FUNCTIONS
- Assisting, evaluating, and maintaining quality patient care.
- Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
Required Skills
- Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and multidisciplinary team members.
- Comply with Studer Philosophies and Principles such as HCAPS Patient Perception, Hourly Rounding with intention, Bedside Shift Report, AIDET, and Daily Huddles.
Required Licenses
- Must hold current license by the state of Kentucky as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Required Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the field of pulmonary and/or rehabilitation preferred.
- BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
- ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications or within 3 months of employment.
