Respiratory Therapist (Full-Time and PRN)

About the role
This position reports to the Respiratory Care Department Manager or to the VP of Quality and Compliance and will be responsible for evaluating, treating, managing, and monitoring adolescent and adult patients with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system.
Responsibilities
- Exercise broad independent clinical judgement while working independently in the absence of the Respiratory Care Manager.
- Train assigned students and orientees.
Requirements
- Experience:
- One year of experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
- Must have a general understanding of computers.
- Licensure / Certification:
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Respiratory Care Therapist with a Blood Gas Endorsement
- Maintain BLS and ACLS Certification
- Registered or Certified by the NBRC
- Minimum of one year Acute Care or LTAC experience preferred
