Respiratory Therapist - FT Days (20k Sign On Bonus!)

About the Role

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on the effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.

All part- and full-time respiratory therapists will train on and be assigned to the NICU on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy
• Consult physicians on the effectiveness of therapy
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state licensure requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• For co-workers in the Emergency Room, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Critical care experience

Physical Demands

• Push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
• Pinch up to 10 lbs
• Kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally

Pay

$20,000 bonus for RRTs.
