Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT (Cardiopulmonary) - FT/72

About the role

The Respiratory Therapist will use respiratory assessment throughout all areas of the hospital when caring for patients, follow AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines, and promote compassionate, efficient, cost-effective quality patient care. The role incorporates teaching principles into all practices and demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule

7:00 pm – 7:00 am, including every other weekend and holidays.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registration or Certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• One (1) year clinical experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate (preferred)
• Two (2) years' clinical experience, including emergency care (preferred)
• Experience with outpatient testing (e.g., PFT, stress testing, cardiac monitors) (preferred)

Pay

Base rate: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour, determined by education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
