About the role

Join our team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist! We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate therapist to deliver respiratory care in a fast-paced environment and work with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and diagnostic tests as ordered by physicians.
• Clean and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance is a priority.
• Step up and take on supervisory duties in the absence of the Shift Supervisor by monitoring and delegating the workload.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• National Board for Respiratory Care registration (CRT or RRT).
• Missouri respiratory care practitioner license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and carry greater weights during the shift.

Skills

• Clear communication with patients and coworkers.
• Strong writing skills for accurate patient-chart documentation.
• Knowledge of human development processes and experience with patients of all ages.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification (employer will support maintenance).
• At least one year of experience as a respiratory therapist.
