Respiratory Therapist -36hrs nights

Job Summary

Minimum of range starts at $38.01/hr and goes up based off of experience. This position comes with a $15,000 Sign on Bonus!

Essential Functions

• Initiates and/or assists with appropriate respiratory tests and procedures, as ordered, to deliver appropriate care to patients
• Responds to respiratory emergencies and transports mechanically ventilated patients when moved from units for tests and procedures
• Schedules patient treatments as necessary and provides consultation as an active member of the patient care team
• Manages the administration of all aspects of respiratory therapy according to respiratory care policies and procedures
• Makes regular bedside rounds and administers Respiratory Care modalities to assigned patients
• Modifies treatment care plan according to clinical picture and response to therapy
• Participates in education of students, physicians, staff, and patients/families

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy required and Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy preferred
• Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification], Registered Respiratory Therapist [RRT], Neonatal Resuscitation Certification [NRP], Respiratory Therapist [Massachusetts], Respiratory Care Practitioner [State License]
