About the role
Perform comprehensive patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physicians' orders or protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assess therapy effectiveness
- Provide ventilator support during critical events
- Maintain life support equipment in intensive care and designated areas
- Demonstrate critical thinking, flexibility, and sound clinical judgment to implement care plans, interventions, and procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Current licensure in Missouri
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC
- Certifications such as BLS, NRP, and PALS (required or obtainable upon hire)
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Neonatal/pediatric intensive care experience
- NBRC Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist certification
