Respiratory Therapist **$10,000 BONUS**

Responsibilities

Affirms patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis.

Maintains, documents, and communicates patient condition as necessary.

Performs advanced respiratory care modalities.

Evaluates respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcomes.

Trains patients and families about their illnesses and provides information on community support groups and other available programs.

Requirements

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided for validation.
• Prior experience in critical care preferred.
• Neonatal/pediatric experience preferred.
• Prior experience performing invasive procedures preferred.
• Registered (RRT) or Certified (CRT) Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Oklahoma Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association.

Physical And Environmental Demands

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Normal hearing and vision or corrected to normal range.
• May require sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
